The International Equine Thermography Association was established to meet the following needs:

To raise and maintain standards in Equine Thermography
To provide an organisation of certified Equine Thermographers
To promote good practice amongst persons practising Equine Thermography
To promote professional training of Equine Thermographers
To promote greater understanding of Equine Thermography
